DEMINING CONTROL
is facilitating the speedy decontamination of Ukrainian territory and the restoration of a sustainable global food chain.
A Key Link in the Global Food Chain, Farmland Damages and Demining Needs
The financial consequences of the damage and losses in Ukraine's agriculture caused by the Russian invasion, which are not related to demining, are estimated at USD 56.3 billion. The approximate cost of demining the 16 million hectares of agricultural land in Ukraine that are at risk of landmine contamination ranges from $12.8 to $26.6 billion (Kyiv School of Economics).
The Ukraine's land needs to be cleared of explosive ordnance and restored to feed humanity as soon as possible. The new technologies minimize risks to sapper operations and donor funding by online tracking of every site, demining team, equipment and donation.
Using UxS & AI is essential for recognizing objects in the air, on land and in water, as well as for the fastest possible response in online controlling mine countermeasures and counter-UxS systems to deal with the hidden dangers threatening dozens of future generations.

This detecting complex ecosystem has to be built on the basis of artificial intelligence software for identification/recognition of threats, development of neutralization methods, decision-making, process management, online monitoring and digital reporting of results.
The AI-based systems have to be implementated into the existing civil defense in cities that are currently at war in Israel and Ukraine, in post-war settlements and territories contaminated by the remnants of war, as well as in urban areas that have to be protected against threats that have arisen.
4 Steps Cycle of Humanitarian Demining in Ukraine
Demining Control collects databases of UTC authorities and local governments, certified humanitarian demining operators, charitable foundations and donor organizations, analyzes UTC humanitarian demining requests, operators' proposals on technical and financial support and timelines, and organizes information and legal support and financing for each site, providing GPS tracking of demining activities and online control of donor funding.

"Demining Control Digital Platform contains information, logistical and legal support for every cent of funding , every cargo with mine action equipment, every parcel with devices for deminers - from a foreign donor country, through its NGO or charity fund, to a Ukrainian contractor and a final recipient" - Volodymyr Khomenko, Founder of "Demining Control"

NGO and GF "Demining Control" calls the donor countries for the creation of a Global Demining Hub to bring together non-governmental organizations and charitable foundations.
These stakeholders can ensure the efficient use of financial resources by channelling funds into the Global General Demining Fund.
The First Kyiv Anti-mine Declaration:
Mine clearance should be carried out by deminers, but also with the proper equipment like drones or UAVs, so that sappers can see where they need to go and what area to check” said Sergiy Skydanov, CEO of DEF-C, a Ukrainian unmanned solutions company of the INTECRACY holding, which has been serving the state sector of Ukraine for over 27 years.
"This will significantly speed up the process. There are also different types of machines for demining without human involvement. This can also be funded by international donors" added Ruslan Pyatkovsky - active sapper, senior sergeant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, founder of the International Demining Group.
To avoid red tapes and corruption in demining Ukraine, the Global Fund's Working Office should be established in close proximity to Ukraine.
In our project, we consider Poland as a country that is neighboring and friendly to us,” emphasized the head of the NGO Demining Control. Oleg Deyneka noted that Wroclaw has the potential to open a Global Fund office for humanitarian demining and to organize cooperation with Ukrainian contractors and sign the contracts.
In his opinion, this would ensure an absolutely transparent, controlled system of reporting and monitoring of the funds and resources that will be provided to Ukraine by international donors for humanitarian demining: logistics, media support, demining, analysis, and cooperation with companies that produce demining equipment.
